Blend doors

The environment in which doors are installed varies greatly from site to site. In some cases, conventional hinged doors or sliding doors may not be suitable.

For example, there may be situations where both a large opening for loading and unloading large machinery and a standard-sized door for everyday personnel traffic are required, but there is insufficient space to install them separately. In such cases, a blend door can be used.

There are three types of blend doors.

DTV (Detachable plus door hatch)



DTH (Detachable plus door)



SPD (Sliding door plus swing door
This door is normally used as a sliding door for personnel traffic, and the required opening can be secured by opening the hinged door only when loading and unloading large machinery. The sliding door can be selected from three types: manual, self-closing, or automatic. When the hinged door is closed, it is fixed in place with a French bolt.








DTV40　(Detachable plus door hatch)（DR+TH）

When loading and unloading tall machinery, a door with considerable height is required. However, since it is normally only used for personnel traffic, such a large door is not necessary on a daily basis. Furthermore, if it is to be used in a cleanroom, excessively large doors create problems due to increased air turbulence during opening and closing. In such cases, the DTV40, which features a detachable machine hatch above the hinged door, is convenient. This door can be used as a personnel door on a daily basis, while the upper hatch can be removed to expand the opening only when needed.







DTH40　(Detachable plus door)（DR+TH）

The detachable machine hatch is used for large openings that are only utilized a few times a year or once every few years. The DTH40 is convenient when, due to the room layout, there is no other location where a personnel door can be installed.
The DTH40 combines a hinged door on either the left or right side of the detachable machine hatch. Since the hinged door section can also be removed from the frame when opened beyond 90°, the hinged door section can be positioned as part of the machine hatch when considering the opening dimensions, allowing for an even larger opening to be secured.
